Active@ Partition Manager is a basic system utility for hard drive management. With this tool you can modify logical partitions on your existing hard drive: create, delete, format and change attributes.
In the program's window there is a list of all system drives found by the program. Extended information is available in a table at the top. You can create new partitions from unused drive space (if available), delete existing partitions, format your partitions using NTFS or FAT32 file systems, and also change attributes of logical hard drives (change drive letters and volume labels).
This is a simple, free tool so there is no option for merging and splitting partitions. I must admit that this utility worked fine with my 400 GB hard drive, splitting it into three logical drives. I used this program a couple of times and each one was satisfactory. Its functionality is very basic as I usually expect from freeware apps, but it could be a good choice. If you need to perform more advanced hard drive operations though, it is better to find a different program.
Create, resize, format, or defrag disk partitions in the safest way possible.
